Comic superstar Eddie Murphy returns in one of his most hilarious multi-role movies as Professor Sherman Klump, a hugely obese scientist who falls for the lovely Professor Carla Purty (Jada Pinkett Smith). Desperate for her affections, Klump invents a DNA-altering drug that temporarily transforms him into the slender, testosterone-overloaded jerk, Buddy Love. It's not long before both egos begin to compete for dominance and Carla's attention in this comedy starring Dave Chapelle and Oscar nominee James Coburn. Murphy brilliantly plays the entire "big-boned" Klump clan, thanks to Rick Baker's Oscar-winning special effects makeup.
